In this lesson we will take a look at Simeon, one of the characters who was at the temple during Jesus's 8 day ceremony. We see that Simeon was a truth seeker and a great man of God who had a unique promise from God. As Simeon looked for the first coming of Christ, we too should look for the coming in the clouds.

In this lesson, Adam Barnes goes through Philippians 3:15 - 4:1. We see Paul showing the church that they should continue in maturity. 

In this lesson we see Paul's command to live in the light. He goes on to show how we can do this and what a person who is doing this will look like. Living wisely and making the most of every moment. 

In this section of Philippians 3 we see Paul compare the worthlessness of his past accolades and attempts to gain righteousness with the priceless value of intimately knowing Jesus Christ. Application is extremely easy to understand, yet extremely hard to put into practice.

In this section of scripture we see Paul once again making a distinction between the position of a believer and a nonbeliever, and exhorting believers to live like who they are. As believers we can live like our flesh, as if we were not sons of God, yet Paul encourages the church at Ephesus to live like who they are as Children of God.

In this lesson Adam begins chapter 3 where Paul warns of the Judaizes and the damage of a works based salvation. Paul himself was a Jew of Jews and had something to boast in, in regards to the law. Yet he counted all his earthly works as loss for the sake of Christ.

In this lesson we will look at Ephesians 5:1 where it says to be imitators of God. we will go through the previous verses in chapter 4 and see how Jesus lived out what  Paul has just told the church at Ephesus to do. We can apply this by being Mimic's of Jesus Christ.

In this section of Scripture (Phil. 2:19-30) Paul synthesizes the themes he spent the first two chapters of Philippians establishing by using Timothy and Epaphroditus' work and lives to demonstrate faithfulness, humility, obedience, and sacrifice. Through their personification of these traits we can make application in our lives as believers.

In this lesson over Ephesians 4:29-32 we see the continuation of what the new man looks like. The theme of these verses is using words and relationships within the body. As believers we can take direct application by living as we are called to live.

In this lesson Adam Barns discusses Philippians 2:12-18 and teaches the theme of obedience while going over one verse that is commonly misunderstood.
