In this lesson we go over Ephesians 4:25-28 and see where Paul shows the church at Ephesus what the new man looks like. In this lesson we will see 3 things that the new man does. Each of which is practical and can be implemented by us as believers. 

In this lesson we hear from Adam Barnes who is going over Philippians 2:1-11. In this famous section of scripture we see that Paul is encouraging believers to be humble, just like Christ. The application of this is easy in theory, but hard to actually do.

In this episode, we go over Ephesians 4:17-24 and look at the old verses the new and how we as believers should be living as the new man. It is easy to fall into living like the world, living like who we were, however, we should be living as the new creation that God has made us.

In this lesson Adam Barnes goes over Philippians 1:19-30 and discusses what Paul meant when he said, "To live is Christ and to dies is gain." Paul's perspective and understanding of the future provided a unique outlook pertaining to his life in his earthly body. He provides an example of how we are to view our purpose as humans in our earthly bodies.

In this lesson Adam Barnes teaches over Philippians 1:15-18 and shows how motives matter. Some believers were preaching Christ out of the wrong motives, and while that was good for the listeners, it was not for rewards.

In this lesson we will see Ephesians 4:11-16 and Paul explaining the "He gave gifts to men" in the previous section. Paul talks about spiritual gifts and about the people of the gifts, the purpose of the gifts, and the product of the gifts. We can take direct application by utilizing our spiritual gifts today.

In this lesson Adam Barnes goes over Philippians 1:12-14 where Paul actually says that being in prison was a good thing. We can take direct application from this in understanding that God's ways are not ours and we should take courage and live by faith.

In this lesson we will be going over Ephesians 4:3-10 and looking at the unity that God calls us to. We will see that the Trinity is unified, and that we should be too. We will also see that Christ, because of his powerful victory, has given the church gifts. We will look at the gifts next week, but this week we can still apply this passage by diligently preserving unity.

In the second lesson of The Heart of Philippians, Adam Barnes teaches over Philippians 1:3-11 and the participation that the church at Philippi had, as well as Paul's love for this church. We can take direct application from this passage as we seek to participate in the body of Christ today.

In this part two lesson we look at Ephesians 4:1-3 once again to see two more character qualities that Paul says the church should have in order to walk worthy and be unified. Application is simple to understand in this lesson, yet hard to practice.
